RGM Sessions started as a series of recordings that were developed by the principals listed above between the fall of 2006 through the spring of 2007. The sessions featured original compositions and cover arrangements by Bernie Klemmer, horn section arrangements by Nelson Hill and the song stylings of Bethanne Reid. All the material for the first CD, Better Way and the 2nd CD, Highway of Life was recorded in Klemmer's home studio on Stoney Hill Road and later mixed and mastered by Jim McGee at his Spectrasound Solutions studio In Bethlehem, PA.
Jim also did a remote live recording of the KHR (RGM)
performance at Havana a few months ago.
In November of 2007, they began recording a studio CD with multi-grammy winning producer, Phil Nicolo (John Lennon, Lauren Hill, Billy Joel,
Lauren Hart, The Hooters and the Spanish Harlem Orch,
to name a few)
at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, Pa.
Due to the influx of new compositions from Bernie Klemmer this project is has taken on a new life and the "Blues & Beyond Sessions" are in progress.
The "Blues & Beyond Sessions" is an exciting collaboration of some of the tri-state area's finest musicians including, Andrew Neu, Mark Walsh,
Rob Cochran, Fran X Danis, Alan Gaumer, Doc Gibbs,
Dave Mohn, Dave Renz,
John Sheridan and Bill Washer.
